Carpenter/Laborer

FULL OR PART-TIME 

Job Type: Full-time Preferred, will Consider part-time applicants            
Compensation Range: $16-$25/hr, w-2 employee

SOME Carpentry Experience required, however do not have to be a master carpenter or have master-carpentry experience.  We’re a small construction company that takes pride in building high-quality fences, decks, and outdoor living spaces, and we want someone who cares about craftsmanship, shows up ready to work, and wants to be part of a team that values doing the job right.

In this role, you’ll work on residential projects from start to finish, helping build beautiful, durable structures that homeowners are proud of. Responsibilities

• Build and install fences, decks, gates, railings, and other outdoor structures.

• Measure, cut, frame, and assemble wood, composite, and other building materials.

• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

• Assist with demolition, site prep, material handling, and jobsite cleanup.

• Work with crew members to keep projects on schedule and up to company standards.

• Communicate professionally with homeowners and represent the company well on site.

• Read plans, follow project specifications, and complete work accurately.

Qualifications

• Some Previous carpentry or construction experience required; fence or deck-building experience is a strong plus.

• Ability to use common construction tools and equipment with confidence.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license REQUIRED.

• Ability to run occasional errands also very beneficial.

• Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well with a small team.
